Wow. half a year has passed.
anyway, work is fine so far.. 6months and still surviving.

Only wishes to have more time for meeting up and catching friends..! But concern is... lack of topics to talk about.. like what hafiz meant.. I may have totally erased all my memories about uni. All about it I remember will most probably about how to go there- it's hard to forget since I work just beside it. hahas.

Oh oh oh.. before it slips my mind. During last bday celeb for Angela & Cin, the three of us came to a resolution to justify what "S.i.s.t.e.r.s" means - i.e. to engage in activities together more often and meeting up each other even if there's absenteeism from the team. Reason being, we just dun wanna lose touch with each other!

So, was saying to meet up for cycling on either 1st sat or 2nd sat of July. As for HH... We are planning to have a crash course for you on that (fateful) day!

Official Last Day - or Not

Been missing from the blogspace.. so.. anyway..

Well you know, friday, 14 Nov 2008 was The Day.

The Last Day of University School Life.

The Only feeling I had on Friday was,
"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S OVER JUST LIKE THAT!!!!!!"

So I was Right. I was just compiling a report mins ago. It's not over YET. hahahahaha. If you're or have been thru The system, u wld know what I mean.

But I'm telling you now, I DUN really care!!

Well, actually, looking back, really can't believe its over Just Like That. Yep, you didn't hear/see me wrong. JUST LIKE THAT. Somehow all the sh*t didnt mean a thing now. They are simply SUNK COST......~~~~ (clear abt this term, frank? hahaha)


So I'm a happy undergrad awaiting for the end of final exams to finally mark THE DAY (2 Dec)~~ lalalalalalala~

I am heartened by the many invitations to pledge for Green causes, for Animal rights. If you have been face-booking, you'll know what I mean. Hearten, yes, that many people are aware and care for the earth and beings on the earth. :) But at the same time, sympathetic too. Because.. many who are championing for these causes online may not know the entire truth. Becauses... those who know the truth have not learn to act in accordance to what they know.

No one is born knowledgeable.
We learn every day

But... What if you know the truth?



Remember, No demand, no supply.
No buying, no killing.





Just to share with you a story I heard recently...

A Purposeful Life.

The American investment banker was at the pier of a small coastal Mexican village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked. Inside the small boat were several large yellow fin tuna. The American complimented the Mexican on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them.
The Mexican replied, “Only a little while.”
The American then asked, “Why didn’t you stay out longer and catch more fish?”
The Mexican said, “With this I have more than enough to support my family’s needs.”
The American then asked, “But what do you do with the rest of your time?”
The Mexican fisherman said, “I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take siesta with my wife, Maria, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my amigos, I have a full and busy life.”
The American scoffed, “I am a Harvard MBA and could help you. You should spend more time fishing; and with the proceeds, buy a bigger boat: With the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats. Eventually you would have a fleet of fishing boats. Instead of selling your catch to a middleman you would sell directly to the processor; eventually opening your own cannery. You would control the product, processing and distribution. You would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Mexico City, then Los Angeles and eventually New York where you will run your ever- expanding enterprise.”
The Mexican fisherman asked, “But, how long will this all take?”
To which the American replied, “15 to 20 years.”
“But what then?” asked the Mexican.
The American laughed and said that’s the best part. “When the time is right you would announce an IPO and sell your company stock to the public and become very rich, you would make millions.”
“Millions?…Then what?”
The American said, “Then you would retire. Move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, take siesta with your wife, stroll to the village in the evenings where you could sip wine and play your guitar with your amigos.”

I tell you.. this uni blues thingy.. it doesnt only affect the freshmen............

Even someone like me in my final sem.... sch reopened............it is a heavy blow....................

Cindy, u are not the only one VERY pessimistic about this period in life... I joined the league......!

I swear I have never used as much '..........' as I did in my posting... ever........

Dun think 3-day week is real damn cool. It's not. I still dun think I have enough time on my hands................................................

I was just sms-ing my boyfriend that I'm disappointed we don't get to spend as much time as I wish I can afford to.....

I just cant take it that these things that I dun enjoy are taking up my time so much so that I can't do things I enjoy..... I'm sure many feels the same... and I'm sure working adults cant agree more......

AND worser thing is.... I'm turning one working adult REAL SOON.. (If i do manage to find a job SOON- tat's another worry)

Anyway... It's all so depressing cos it's the UNI BLUES period...

.................................... I miss holidays. (my last 3-month holiday...........................)

Oh, and Singapore got Sliver in table tennis......!(randomxx)

Hey all!

This is the time where many of my male friends, especially those from sec sch to enter another phrase of their lives after just finishing one MAJOR phase of theirs!

Some ORD-ed, some disrupted. Anyway you know, You've all done a greaT JOB!
Completed the service with pride, sweat, blood, tears and laughters!
Congrats to making to the (partial) end of NSF and becoming NSmen!!
Proud of you my friends :)

You're finally moving on to YET another Challenging milestone.
Eager? Excited? Anxious? Dreading?
I know a few who are pretty excited and all perked up for this new chapter of their lives. CONGRATS! HAVE GOOD FUN AND ENJOY SCHOOLING (& holidays)!

But there are also some who may be clouded with confusion of the new system (like CORS), shadowed with loneliness and unfamiliarity and bombarded by thoughts of qutting and giving it all up, but I assure you that ALL THESE WILL BE GONE. Some in no time, some will take months. Take it from someone who has been through it. I took 1 whole year, 2 semester to finally accept and adapt to the different environment.
EVENTUALLY YOU WILL HAVE GOOD FUN AND ENJOY SCHOOLING(& holidays)!

In any time you feel that life is too tough, remember, you are not the only one. Many has walked the same path and completed this journey. Try not to take it too hard when things get tough, for when you look back , you will realised it is only matters so little. Also maybe you can try to think of this phrase that 4G used to paste outside their classroom: "When the going gets tough, the tough gets going."
Maybe also then, it can be the time for us to also sit down and think back of everything that has happened in this life. We may find more things to be grateful of.

Let not what you've learnt in the past years be forgotten but may you bring all that were learnt from your life experiences with you to be a better MAN.

Most importantly, remember you always have this friend - ME - here.
